You are invited to join us at Ringside 6:30 -9:30 PM on December 10, 2018 at the Wilshire Grand Hotel Primavera Lounge in West Orange, NJ. Enjoy an entertaining evening with the stars. The night's event will include the following: 

• An opening mix and mingle reception and a live music performance featuring Grammy Nominee Nat Adderley, Jr. on Piano along with dynamic jazz fusion Darryl Clark on Bass. Guest will enjoy Primavera Ristorante at the Wilshire Grand Hotel bits and bites while networking with attendees and local community dignitaries.

• The main event will be an intimate Ringside conversation with Stevenson and Moses Boxing For Life Corp Co-Founders Olympian & Pro Boxer Newark Native Shakur Stevenson Stevenson, CEO Robyn Ware-Mosesand Hall of Fame Boxing Coach Wali Moses. Learn more about the boxing community and the passion behind founding Stevenson Moses Boxing for Life. This main event will be led by moderator Stephanie Hutton, President of The Junior League of Montclair-Newark, Inc. The main event will closed with your participation in an audience-driven Q&A session.

• Rounding out the final networking hour will be a review of the live painting produced by local artist Kingdom Art who will capture the night’s intimate conversation. Also, enjoy some one on one photo opportunities and your chance to network with fellow celebrities and attendees.

About Stevenson & Moses Boxing for Life

 

Stevenson & Moses Boxing For Life is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization committed to using boxing as a tool to teach camaraderie among peers in the community.  Our signature program teaches Olympic style boxing that provides participants with the skills necessary to become a contender in the Olympics for Boxing if they choose to do so.  We provide training for athletes to build endurance and perseverance for the sport of their choice and believe that the words and experience in and of itself is an asset to one's life.  Our goal is to offer boxing as a deterrent to bullying and gun violence by building character and responsibility for the community in which participants live.  Stevenson and Moses Boxing For Life, a viable force in the community, is the vision of Willie and Robyn Moses, along with their grandson Pro Boxer & 2016 Olympic Silver Medalist in Boxing Shakur Stevenson.

CC Minton is Board President of Stevenson Moses Boxing for Life. A nationally recognized award-winning advocate, author, and lifestyle ambassador, and media contributor, CC is a recipient of the President's Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition Leadership Award and a Best Kids Book Author.

Invited by the Press Office of First Lady Michelle Obama to cover the Kids State Dinner, as health and lifestyle editor for Harlem World Magazine, CC took readers on a visual journey inside the East Room and outside to the White House Kitchen Garden.

 

As health and lifestyle editor, personal interviews with high profile notables include Judge "Greg" Mathis, Shark Tanks lemonade entrepreneur Mikaila Ulmer, and International Chef Marcus Samuelsson. She has covered NYC charity events whose guest included B-Smith, fashion icon Stephen Burrows, Cicely Tyson, Common, Nick Cannon, and Alicia Keys.

 

A community leader that added an entrepreneurial focus to her work, CC tackled big business as a New York/New Jersey NFL Super Bowl XLVIII corporate partner. Her love for community is at the center of what she does as a humanitarian. CC took the lead as Chairperson for the Junior League's Health and Nutrition Initiative and co-hosted the first Team USA Olympic Day sanctioned event in the City of Newark. She also served as a guest panelist at the Jack and Jill of America Childhood Obesity Forum in Washington, DC.

 

About Gregory Burrus

Gregory Burrus is a local live music ambassador, event developer and community partner that develops, manages, promotes and documents local community events in the Greater New Jersey and New York area.
